Welcome back to my blog daily activity. In semester 5, we focus to make pastry and bakery. First day we learn how to make sugar dough or pie dough. The next lesson is how to make croissant.
sugar dough or pie dough is a dough for cookies or pie. has a sweet and fatty taste. And Croissant is a buttery, flaky, viennoiserie pastry named for its crescent shape. Croissants and other viennoiserie are made of a layered yeast-leavened dough. The dough is layered with butter, rolled and folded several times in succession, then rolled into a sheet, in a technique called laminating. The process results in a layered, flaky texture, similar to a puff .
